Prayer Ministry
FRIDAY PRAYERS HAS BEEN SUSPENDED DUE TO THE COVID-19 EMERGENCY MEASURES
Friday Prayer Meeting
Fridays 9.30 - 10 am Bingham Room (lower level, entry via car park)
At 9.30 every Friday morning in the Bingham room a group gather together for a time of peace and prayer in the Lords presence. Numbers vary as people come when they can. Anyone is welcome at any time, from all churches or from no church.
We open with prayers for protection and guidance of the Holy Spirit followed by a short song of worship. There are times of silent and spoken prayer but no one is obliged to pray aloud if they are not comfortable doing so. There is always an invitation for anyone who might like prayer for themselves or for people they know.
Following the half hour of prayer those who are able retire to enjoy a chat and drink at one of the local cafes.

Prayer Chain
Our prayer chain consists of a group of people willing to pray for those in need, such a simple but so effective way of supporting others.
Anyone requesting prayer can pass that request to the minister or to the church office. The request is then passed on to those on the prayer chain. We then pray individually when and how we wish.
We only use the Christian name and initial of the surname of the people we pray for but we do need to have the permission of those people before we can put them onto the prayer chain.
